inclusiveMCB (iMCB) and inclusiveBio (iBio) are featured in the 2024 DEI Newsletter at UC Berkeley! Thanks to the current iBio Co-Director Héctor L. Torres Vera, this 6-page spread takes us through the history of this unique program and explains why it still has the impact it has today, after almost 8 years. I am impressed with how Héctor writes a captivating, honest and exciting story to illustrate the importance of this work and extremely grateful to UC Berkeley for making it one of Berkeley's top 3 DEI stories this Spring. Cheers to the whole team!

First three pages of Hector's incredible depiction of iMCB, now iBio at UC Berkeley. Winter 2024.

December 2023

Happy Holidays everyone! I was awarded the 2023 Joseph F. Wall ’41 Service Award from Grinnell College! That's $40,000 towards my efforts to retain human capital and build social resilience in both academia and biotech for underrepresented scientists like me. Thank you for continuing to help me feel heard and seen Grinnell, as always. What a way to end the year.
